Your First Visit

Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality dental care and personal attention in a timely and respectful manner to ensure your continued good dental health.

At Islander Dental Arts, your first and every visit is about feeling respected and cared for. We are proud to be an inclusive practice for patients of all backgrounds, identities, and walks of life, including LGBTQ+ individuals.

You will receive a welcome email with a link to fill out your new patient paperwork. To make your first visit smooth and efficient, please fill that out as soon as possible, and provide the following information before your appointment:

Dental X-Rays: If your previous dentist, orthodontist, oral surgeon, or periodontist has taken X-rays, please request that they be sent to us at frontdesk@islanderdentalarts.com in advance of your appointment.
Dental Insurance: If you have dental insurance, please bring a copy of your dental insurance card or plan information. This will make check-in more efficient and enable us to process insurance claims accurately. Please take time to acquaint yourself with your insurance benefits.
Dental Records: Please provide your complete health history, including all current medications you take, any recent surgical procedures, and your primary care physician’s contact information.

Thank you for choosing us! We look forward to meeting you and getting to know you. We welcome you and your family to visit us at least twice a year for teeth cleaning and oral exams.

We work with dental insurance companies, but our care is customized for each patient’s individual needs and best outcomes. Our treatment recommendations will always be based on your dental needs.

Charges incurred for treatment provided are your responsibility, regardless of any expected insurance coverage.
