In 2003, Dr. York joined her former dentist to continue a tradition of care and trust built on integrity and deep respect for patients. Over the years, she has also taught at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, helping shape future dentists while staying committed to learning and advancing her own skills.
Outside the office, Dr. York is a proud mother of adult twins and enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on Husky football, and traveling.

Her connection to this practice runs through her life. Dr. Novak’s mother and Dr. York were friends from second grade. She grew up coming to this very office as a patient, later joined the team as an intern in high school and college, and today she’s practicing alongside Dr. York. That lifelong bond brings a rare sense of continuity, familiarity, and shared values to the care they provide together.
Dr. Novak is known for her warm, educational approach and love of building long-term relationships with families. She enjoys guiding patients through each stage of life and finds great joy in watching children grow into confident, healthy adults.
Outside the office, she loves spending time outdoors with her family, camping, fishing, hiking, and relaxing with a good book or movie.
